Who We Are

DOTISSE is a small, preorder-only kitchen offering made-to-order 6-inch Basque cheesecakes for scheduled local pickup in Weehawken, NJ. This policy explains what information we collect through this website and how we handle it. You can reach us at dotisse.official@gmail.com.

Information We Collect

We only collect information you choose to send us through this website.

• Order request form: your name, email address, phone number, preferred pickup date and time, flavor and finish selections, occasion, allergy or dietary notes, any additional notes, and an optional inspiration image.
• Feedback form: your email address, the flavor you ordered, optional order reference and order date, your ratings and written note, up to three optional photos, and — only if you choose to allow your note to be shared — a first name.
• We do not ask for, and you should not send us, sensitive personal information beyond what these forms request.
• The website does not require an account, and visitors are not asked to log in.

How We Use Your Information

• To review your order request, check availability and production capacity, and prepare your final order details and total.
• To contact you about your request or confirmed order, including sending Zelle payment instructions and pickup details.
• To bake and prepare your order accurately, including honoring notes about allergies, dietary concerns and decoration.
• To read and respond to feedback you send us, and to improve our recipes and service.
• We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not send marketing emails.

Customer Communication

• When you submit an order request, a notification containing your submitted details is emailed to the DOTISSE business inbox so we can review it.
• You also receive an automatic acknowledgement email containing your request reference number and a summary of the details you submitted.
• We reply to you directly by email or phone using the contact details you provided.
• Order-related messages are operational, not promotional. If you would prefer we contact you only by one method, let us know.

Service Providers

We keep our tooling minimal. The following providers process data on our behalf, and only for the purposes described above:

• Lovable — hosts this website and provides the managed database and file storage where order requests and feedback submissions are saved.
• Supabase — the underlying database and storage infrastructure used by that managed backend.
• Lovable's managed email service — delivers the internal notification email generated when you submit an order request.
• Google (Gmail) — hosts the DOTISSE business email inbox we use to read and reply to your messages.
• We do not currently run advertising pixels, third-party analytics or website tracking cookies on this site. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs for security and reliability.
• We do not sell customers' personal information, and we do not share it with anyone other than the providers listed above.

Payment Information

• Payments are made through Zelle, directly between your bank and ours. This website does not process payments.
• We never collect or store card numbers, bank account numbers or online banking credentials through this website.
• Your bank's own privacy terms govern the Zelle transfer itself. We can see only the information your bank shows us about a received payment.

Data Retention

• Order request records are kept while we review and fulfill the order, and afterward for a reasonable period for bookkeeping and to help with repeat orders.
• Feedback submissions and any photos you attach are kept until we no longer need them for the purposes described here.
• Uploaded images are stored privately and are not published anywhere on the website.
• You can ask us to delete your records at any time — see below.

Data Protection

• The website is served over HTTPS, so information you submit is encrypted in transit.
• Order requests, feedback and uploaded photos are stored in a private, access-controlled backend. Uploaded files are held in a private storage location that is not publicly readable.
• Access is limited to DOTISSE and the service providers listed above.
• No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Sharing Permission for Feedback

• Feedback you submit is private by default.
• Nothing you write or upload is displayed publicly unless you have given permission on the form and we have manually approved it.
• You can withdraw that permission at any time by emailing us.

Your Choices and Requests

• You may ask us to tell you what information we hold about you, correct anything inaccurate, or delete your records.
• Send your request to dotisse.official@gmail.com from the email address you used, and we will respond within a reasonable time.
• We may need to keep limited records where required for legal or bookkeeping reasons.

Children

This website is intended for adults placing orders. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Policy Updates

We may update this policy as our website or ordering process changes. The current version and its last-updated date always appear on this page. Meaningful changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
